A thriving community provides care, concern and compassion for all generations. The Center for Aging and Healthcare in WV is making a significant contribution to increasing our understanding of the health and social needs of our aging population. This agency is one of the “hidden treasures” of the Mid-Ohio Valley as it quietly goes about conducting pilot projects and major research projects in a community setting, a task usually undertaken by large universities. Its mission to find innovative solutions to difficult and complex problems facing our most vulnerable older adults.
